Abstract

The article presents an analysis of scientific studies devoted to the theories and methods of developing critical thinking skills in students within the field of art education. In addition, theoretical concepts explaining the importance of critical thinking were explored, along with the role of digital tools in the educational process and their impact on enhancing students' creativity. The purpose of the article is to foster the development of students' critical thinking and creativity through the use of digital technologies, as well as to promote their integration into the field of contemporary art. In this regard, an in-depth analysis of the concept of critical thinking was conducted, along with a theoretical review of scientific studies in the fields of art and art education. A comparative analysis of research by international and domestic scientists was conducted, along with an examination of the importance of key concepts in various fields of science, such as psychology, pedagogy, philosophy, and sociology. The effectiveness of critical thinking as a foundation for future fine arts teachers in enhancing the quality of education through the use of digital technologies was investigated. The creative works of modern art teachers related to digital technologies were considered, along with a detailed analysis of articles in scientific sources. The article examines the integration of digital technologies into art education, as well as their role in modernizing traditional teaching methods. The use of interactive technologies has been shown to foster students' creative freedom and enhance their skills. The use of digital technologies as an effective tool for developing critical thinking in art students has been explored. Their innovative role in enhancing students' creative abilities and preparing them for the contemporary art market has also been revealed.
