Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the importance of the epistolary genre in the field of education and teaching methods. The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of teaching the epistolary genre and show its role in the development of creative and critical thinking skills in the educational process. The study discusses the importance of teaching the epistolary genre and its application in the field of Education.

The survey method was used as a research method. The survey, conducted on the basis of the Likert scale, was attended by students of 2-3 courses of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, majoring in journalism and Kazakh language and literature. The results of the survey were analyzed in the JASP and DATAtab programs and the opinions of students about the effectiveness of teaching the epistolary genre were compared. The results of the study showed the importance of the epistolary genre in the development of creative and critical thinking skills. According to students ' reviews, in the process of teaching the genre, writing skills and critical thinking skills develop. However, the need to improve methods of teaching the epistolary genre was raised, particularly with a view to enhancing the educational process through the use of new methods and technologies.

As a result, low grades for some research works indicate the need for full-fledged improvement of methods and approaches to teaching the epistolary genre. In this regard, the importance of using new methods and technologies has become clear. It was noted that this implies the need to introduce innovative methods in teaching the epistolary genre. The results of the study showed that the use of the epistolary genre in the educational process is promising. It is clarified that through the teaching of this genre, students develop creative abilities and skills of critical thinking, which has a positive effect on improving the quality of the educational sphere.
