Abstract

The article discusses in detail the problem of the formation of research skills of younger schoolchildren in the information educational environment. It is noted that through the formation of research skills, primary school students develop critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, participate in scientific projects with the support of teachers, experiment and master methods of searching for their own information. It is noted that this process increases their interest in new knowledge and promotes the development of intellectual and creative potential, that the development of curiosity, creativity and the desire for novelty is crucial for the formation of younger schoolchildren as a personality, thereby increasing the cognitive interests of students and stimulating active learning.

The issues of research, curiosity, creativity and the desire for discovery are also considered, and it is shown that their development is important at the stage of elementary school, and it is also shown that the research abilities of elementary school students are developed through methods of participating in research projects, conducting experiments and searching for their own information. This scientific research work addresses the issues of research, research activities, and the development of research skills in students. Research is defined as a process aimed at acquiring new knowledge, helping to understand cognitive patterns and phenomena. Research activities represent a special form of educational work that ensures the implementation of creative and research tasks by students to achieve previously unknown results.
